Integrations: How to Integrate with Zapier

This article will walk you through the steps to connect your ClickFunnels 2.0 account to Zapier. Doing so allows you to use ClickFunnels 2.0 to trigger events and share data between ClickFunnels 2.0 and a third-party application. The Zapier integration is connected and managed from the Zapier side and does not appear in ClickFunnels 2.0.

Requirements:

  • An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account
  • An active Zapier account
  • A third-party application supported by Zapier

Add ClickFunnels 2.0 to Zapier using the Invite Link:

The ClickFunnels 2.0 Zapier app is currently accessible by invite only. Follow these steps to find your invite link in ClickFunnels 2.0.

  1. Click the name of the Workspace in the top-left corner.


  2. Click on the Team the Workspace is a part of.


  3. Click “Team Settings” at the bottom of the list of Workspaces for the team.


  4. In the new tab that opens, click the “Developer Portal” icon from the left navigation menu.


  5. Click the hyperlink text “Zapier Integration” to reach the ClickFunnels 2.0 app invitation page in Zapier.


  6. Click the “Accept Invite & Build a Zap” button to accept the invitation and gain access to the ClickFunnels 2.0 app in your Zapier account.

Connect ClickFunnels 2.0 Account with Zapier:

To start using ClickFunnels 2.0 with Zapier, you must have a connection for the apps to communicate. If you do not already have a connection for the desired ClickFunnels 2.0 account in your Zapier account, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your ClickFunnels 2.0 account.
  2. Sign in to your Zapier account in the same web browser session as ClickFunnels 2.0.
  3. Create a new Zap.
  4. Click “Trigger”.
  5. Search for and select the “ClickFunnels 2.0” app.
  6. Choose any “Event” from the dropdown, then click the “Continue” button.

  7. Click the “Sign in” button.
  8. Select the desired Workspace from the popup window.

  9. The selected Workspace is now connected to your Zapier account! You can follow the steps for creating a Trigger or an Action with this Workspace.

Using ClickFunnels 2.0 as a Trigger:

When creating a new Zap, ClickFunnels 2.0 can be used as the Trigger that starts the Zap and sends data to the other app.

  1. Create a new Zap and click on Trigger.
  2. Search for and select the “ClickFunnels 2.0” app.
  3. Choose which event type you want to trigger this Zap from the list of supported Events. In this example, we will use the “Contact Identified” event.

  4. Click the “Continue” button.


  5. Ensure the desired Workspace is selected. Use the “Change” button to select a different one if needed.


  6. Click the “Continue” button.


  7. Lastly, Zapier will ask you to test the trigger by performing the relevant action in the ClickFunnels account. In our example, we must create a new contact and click the “Test Trigger” button.


    Important Note: Alternatively, you can skip the test at your own risk.

  8. After performing the relevant action in the Workspace and clicking the “Test Trigger” button, you must select the record that matches and click the “Continue with selected record” button.

  9. Finally, you can configure the rest of your Zap actions as you normally would.

Using ClickFunnels 2.0 in Actions:

When creating a new Zap, ClickFunnels 2.0 supports receiving data and performing certain actions after the Zap is triggered by another app.

  1. Create a new Zap and set up your Trigger to your needs.
  2. When prompted to set up an Action, search for and select the ClickFunnels 2.0 app.


  3. Select a supported event to perform from the dropdown menu.
    Example:


  4. Click the “Continue” button.


  5. Ensure the desired Workspace is selected. Use the “Change” button to select a different one if needed.


  6. Click the “Continue” button.


  7. Configure the settings for the action you selected.
    Example:


  8. Click the “Continue” button.


  9. Zapier will display the data and settings you previously configured and allow you to perform the action as a test.

    Important Note: Alternatively, you can skip the test at your own risk.

  10. You will be shown the result of the test, including details about the data, which you can verify in your ClickFunnels account.
    Example:


  11. After confirming the Zap is working, click the “Publish” button.
